Registration summary
Democracy Routes provides meetings, flows, invitations, optional transcription, media uploads, AI summaries, notifications, and community-space collaboration.
We use your account details to authenticate you, keep your workspace access secure, send account or meeting notifications, and operate the features you choose to use.
- Your email is used for login, account recovery, invitations, and service notifications.
- Your nickname is public inside the platform and can be used instead of exposing your email.
- Meeting content, transcripts, uploads, and AI outputs depend on the meetings or spaces you join.
- Non-essential analytics cookies remain separate and can be managed in cookie settings.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Democracy Routes. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service scope
Democracy Routes provides collaboration spaces, meetings, flows, transcripts, uploaded media, analysis tools, and related participation features. Some features may be experimental or in beta.
2. Account responsibilities
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You must use the service only for lawful and authorized purposes.
3. User content and meeting responsibility
- You remain responsible for the content you upload, record, share, or publish through the service.
- You must have a valid legal basis to share personal data, recordings, transcripts, or documents involving other people.
- Meeting hosts and workspace organizers are responsible for informing participants when recording or transcription is enabled.
- In template-based flow executions, authorized owners or invited moderators may monitor table status, live transcript previews, chat activity, and speaking-balance metadata from a control-room dashboard for facilitation and testing. Moderator entry into a table is shown to participants.
4. Software license and source code
The Democracy Routes software source code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only. The public source repository is available at github.com/theRAGEhero/democracy-routes-v.alpha. This software license does not automatically license user-generated or user-uploaded content such as recordings, transcripts, summaries, documents, or private workspace data.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or security-harming use.
- No attempt to access data, accounts, or workspaces without authorization.
- No uploading of malware or content that interferes with service operation.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, especially beta features, to improve security, compliance, or service reliability.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create material security or legal risk, or misuse the service.
8. Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Cookie handling is described in the Cookie Policy.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

The platform may process account information, memberships, meeting participation, invitations, uploaded files, recordings, transcripts, AI-generated summaries, feedback, logs, privacy requests, and notification preferences.
Some content can include personal data about you or other participants. Meeting hosts and community-space organizers are responsible for using recording, transcription, sharing, and publication features lawfully and transparently.
You can request export or deletion of account data from your account privacy settings. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, legal, audit, or legitimate operational reasons.
